Orchestras (Large formations of 13 musicians or more)

Here, organisers can calculate the costs for the musicians of their concert and/or recording production when applying the SMV-USDAM minimum rates.
Musicians can calculate their minimum earnings.

The performance fees are minimum rates and refer to normal orchestral services or services in large formations. For chamber music services or services in small formations, the tariff scales AK, BK and CK apply.

In the case of special requirements (solo performances, performances as concertmaster or with unusual special instruments as well as performances on the theatre stage, costumed or not costumed), a special agreement must be made between the organiser and the musician before the engagement begins.

These rates do not apply to engagements lasting longer than 6 consecutive days.
